Continue. Pursue. Just go with the flow

I want to share my devotion for today and talagang ni-remind talaga ako ng LORD sa bagay na'to..


Date: March 9, 2011
Biblical Passages: Acts 17-19
     "Do not be afraid. Keep on speaking, do not be silent." - Acts 18:9


Message:
   We don't need to be afraid when we do our responsibility to God. God remind us that whatever happen, never give up. He is there and He send many people to help us in soul-winning. Hindi tayo nag-iisa. Even there are times na naii-struggle na tayo, it is not the reason para tumiwalag tayo. Just continue what we are doing. Just go with the flow.


Reflection:
   In the passage, Paul together with the believers, they visit many places to spread the Salvation through Jesus Christ. Many people believe for what they saying and there is also against on them and this are the people who believe in their hand-made gods. That's we call "idolatry". Paul clear to them that there is only one God that source of everything, Acts 17:24-25, "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."
   Don't  be afraid for what we have doing for God. Kahit kalabanin tayo, let's stand for God ^__^


Motivation:
   Sa ngayon, medyo sinusuko ko na ang mga alaga ko. ang naiisip ko, nasasayang lang ang time, effort ko sa kanila dahil wala namang nangyayari. But now, God clear to me that there's no reason para gumiv-up. In the passage, Paul never give-up on spreading the Word even sinasaktan na sila ng mga tao. But Paul said this, Acts 18:6, But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles." Sabi naman ng pastor namin,kung nabigay mo na lahat sa mga taong ito at wala pa ring nangyayari, bitawan mo na. Yes, it is true. Pero para sa akin habang may time pa ko sa campus, hinding-hindi ko bibitawan ang mga batang ito. I continue to pray for them, I continue to help them but after I graduate and wala pa ding nangyari, that is the time na bibitawan ko na sila. I believe naman na sa loob ng 1 1/2 years ko sa PUP, may mangyayari, God will provide it to me. Because He knows that I love this people,


Application:
   I think hindi pa ganun katindi ung effort na pinapakita ko. I need pa itong dagdagan. I need to move quickly, dagdagan ko pa ang dapat kong gawin and surrender everything kung may mga hindrance man sa ministry ko. I need to continue. I need to pursue, there's nothing to doubt, there's nothing to afraid of.

True Love Waits

I want to share this topic from last thursday Wildsons to you girls but it is better if it is personally so that you wil feel the presence of God, don't ignore it.. Promise you will enlighten what is the real meaning of Love. I just only share the outline.

-Don't search it, just wait

A. Cost of not Waiting

1. Physical
-STD "Sexually Transmitted Disease"
-Early Pregnancy
-Abortion

"you are worth for waiting"

2.Emotional
-Guilt
-Self-worth
-Depression

3.Spiritual
-Disobedience to God
 Galatians 6:7-9
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that naturea will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

B.How to stay pure?

1.Protect your mind
Ephesians 4:22-24
"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds;and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."

Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."

2.Do not accomodate sins
 James 4:7
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
-know how to set your limitations
-have a boundary

3.Decide in advance
Job 31:1
"I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl."

C.5 Commitments as I wait

-Commitment to God
-Commitment to myself
-Commitment to my family
-commitment to my friends
-commitment to my future partner and future children

A sweet truth:
When God knows your ready for the responsibility of commitment, he'll reveal the right person under the right circumstances. Wait patiently. Don't waste your time searching and wishing. Grow and be ready. and you will see, God will give you a love story far better than you could ever dream of.

Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

-Let God be the one who has an authority and right to give the suitable partner for us, "DON'T SEARCH BUT WAIT." Focus your life first serving God and to people.. ^___^

A Biblical Verse for Valentines

1 Corinthians 13

1If I speak in the tonguesa of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 
3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,b but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 
7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
